Once assessments are completed, books are automatically assigned to students based on their level. If you've manually assigned books and students can't find them, here's what to check.

Assigned books appear in the Library with a blue outline and the word "Assigned". Make sure students are looking for this indicator rather than browsing the full library.

Step 1: Go to Library under Instructional Resources.

Step 2: Use the filters to find the book(s) you want to assign — you can filter by topic, Social Studies, or Science standards. Click Add to Bag for each book. You can select multiple books.

Step 3: Click Create Assignments, then select your students. Click the checkbox to select all, or choose individual students. Then click Bulk Assign and submit.

Step 4: Review the release date, set a due date, and choose any options — including Include Quiz (if available) or Include Fluency if you'd like students to record themselves reading. Click Next.

Step 5: If you have access to Writing, click Skip on the writing step.

Step 6: Review the assignment to confirm the right books are assigned to the right students, then click Create Assignment.

To confirm students received the assignment, go to Activity History under Students. You can see all assignments for your class, including book status, quiz results, and fluency recordings.
