Student Dashboard

A quick overview of what students see when they log in.

When students log in, they are taken directly to their personal dashboard. From here, they can track their weekly usage goal, monitor their reading comprehension and phonics progress, complete assigned tasks, and customize their avatar. This article walks through each section of the student experience.

Home

The Home screen is the first thing students see after logging in. It gives them a snapshot of everything happening in their account:

  • Students who has multiple language modules can toggle the language on top of the dashboard to English/Espanol/Chinese: Simplified/Chinese: Traditional

  • The "My Tasks" section shows a personalized list of books and quizzes the system assigned to each student. The list updates automatically as students make progress, and books remain on the dashboard until all related tasks are completed.

  • Each task card tells students what type of activity they need to complete, which may include: Watch Lesson, Read Book, Take Quiz, Writing Task, or Fluency Practice. Once a task is completed, its icon turns green. Students click on a task card to get started.

  • Encourage students to complete their My Tasks and practice Phonics/First Steps regularly to level up faster.

My Tasks

  • Students can also review the tasks they have already completed by clicking "View Activity" in the My Tasks tab.

My Progress

This section gives students a visual view of where they stand academically. It includes two progress trackers:

  • Phonics/First Steps Progress: Students can track their phonics level and play more phonics games to move forward.

  • Reading Progress: Students can see their current reading level and level up by reading books and taking quizzes.

Students also earn coins through reading, answering quizzes, and playing games. They can visit the Shop from this section to customize their avatar.
