To see students' assessment completion and result against benchmark expectation, follow these steps:
Make the selection as indicated by 1-5 below.
For Step 3, choose the course you assessed.
Use the "Group By" dropdown to see data grouped by grades or schools or groups/classes.
The two chart options in Step Up 4 allows you to choose between a bar chart or a scatter plot data view.
Each dot in the scatter plot view shows data of one student. High density of dots mean many students are around this particular level/score range.
The bar chart representation shows you percentage of students in each level/score range and percentage of students who have not completed assessments in the specified window per grade or school or class.
Hover over each dot or Download CSV to see each student’s level and points.
You can drill down to individual student data by clicking into the table below the chart.
For students who have completed assessments, you can see percentage of students in each benchmark status.
Exceeds (dark green) — the student has surpassed the benchmark by the district-defined benchmark scores
Meets (light green) — the student has met the benchmark point.
Approaching (yellow) — the student is well on their way to the benchmark.
Below (orange) — the student is below the benchmark.
No Data (grey) - the student has not completed assessments during the specified assessment window.
Note: If students have NOT completed assessments and the window has closed, students still have access and can complete their assessments
Example:
Does the relative grouping of students’ proficiency align with your expectation? If not,
Do you think the student did not pay attention during assessment?
Does it make sense to re-assess?
