Students can change their avatar or character from their own profile once the Avatar Shop is available to them. They use coins earned from reading to buy accessories and decorations for their avatar.

If an avatar looks wrong after a change, have the student refresh the page. If it still looks incorrect, please reach out to us.

The Avatar Shop is automatically locked from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. local time to help students stay focused during instructional hours. This is the default setting for all students.

How to Unlock the Avatar Shop as a Teacher?

To unlock the Avatar Shop during school hours, go to Student Dashboard Controls, select the student names, toggle the Avatar Shop setting to unlocked, and click Update.
